Tonite there were no contests and a record crowd of 360 to 400+ This was a very busy nite with an extremely high volume level due the high emotions being displayed.It appears that due to the dance being cancelled last week there was a tremendous amount of stored up energy being released in the form of Dancing & Screaming.Parents your kids should have slept well tonite.There was one electrical failure which was promptly fixed. Unfortunately the Pottsville republican did not show up again.There was also a multitude of birthday announcements.The total number being 15+.Anyone attending this splash party that would like to receive my weekly letter should sign up near the bottom of this page by entering your email address.A reminder about the age limits. You must be in school to attend these dances which is grades 5th thur 12th.I don't know if that includes those that graduated this year in June.I'll post an answer with-in a few days.
Attention Parents: Your kids are in goods hands @JFK Pool due in part to the excellent job of monitoring by the JFK Pool Staff and the Pottsville City Police.Also versions of Rap & Hip Hop music being played are the Radio Edited versions which means there are no bad lyrics.The pictures on this site do not tell the complete story.Without sound you cannot appreciate the level of excitement that is being experienced by these kids.These kids are totally high on life,well behaved and having the time of their life. My congratulations and thanks to all the parents for the fine job of raising your kids.
Age limits on this dance are 5th thur 12th grade.This dance is made possible by Schuylkill County Drug and Alcohol Executive Commission & Nancy Schlitzer of the Pottsville City Council.All dances are supervised and policed.Smoking is not permitted on the premises and anyone that leaves the dance will not be allowed to re-enter during that dance. Admission fee is $2.00 for non season pass holders & $1.00 for season pass holders and includes swimming privileges.
