Wednesday July/05/06 was an alternate dance nite due to the 4th being on a Tuesday.It was not a record crowd but certainly a very respectable one considering this is a major vacation week and not a regular Tuesday Nite Event.Splash Party Dances will return to Tuesday next week on 7/11/06 and Wednesday be the alternate nite if Tuesday is canceled due to rain.There were students here from many different schools including the Northern Tier areas.Students ages varied from Middle School to a fairly high precentage of Juniors/Seniors.Pottsville High School was represented with the largest number of students along with Blue Mt/Haven with a slightly smaller attendnace. The Limbo contest featured 40+ contestants with cash prizez going to 5-finalists,$10/ to the winner $5.00 to the 2nd/3rd/4th & 5th place finalists.Next week we will start the Dance contest along with the beach ball throwing contest which will be done to the musical chairs theme.

Attention Parents:
Anytime there is lighting along with the showers ,the dance will be immediately canceled due to the dangers of Lighting.Some of the students were waiting at 10:15pm and still had not been picked up by their parents.
PS: Students throwing thrash in the pool area. Do Not Do this!!!!!Use the Garbage Cans please. Plus you must wear a swim suit when entering the pool.
PS:Parents:this dance is highly supervised by life guards,manager,assistant manager,JFK Staff,& Police.There is no smoking allowed by anyone on the premises,there is an age limit which is 12th grade and the parking lot is watched after the dance is ended.Anyone congregating in the parking lot will be asked by the Police to leave.
